Hadhramaut ((Arabian Sea)) Special: Individuals from the Asad Al-Fay checkpoint of the Coast Guard forces in Hadhramaut Governorate were able to thwart an attempt to smuggle a quantity of hashish, estimated at about two kilograms, which was on its way from Al-Mahra Governorate to the city of Mukalla. The operations room explained that the seizure took place during a routine inspection of a public transport bus, where one of the luggage items aroused the suspicion of the checkpoint personnel. It was opened and a water heater was revealed inside, in which the drugs were hidden in a tight manner that is difficult to detect with the naked eye. It indicated that the main suspect in the case was taken into custody and handed over with the seized items to the Drug Enforcement Administration to complete the investigations and necessary legal procedures. The commander of the Coast Guard forces, Colonel Muhammad Omar Ba Muhair, expressed his pride in the checkpoint personnel, praising their high sense of security and their unwavering field vigilance, and directing his special thanks to the leaders and personnel of the eastern sector for their continuous efforts. Emphasizing that the Coast Guard forces are working according to well-defined security plans and in coordination with various security agencies, to bridge the smuggling gap and close all outlets in front of those who trade in people's lives, stressing that protecting society is a trust that does not accept compromise.
