Aden ((Arabian Sea)) Follow-ups: The Yemeni government has affirmed that the recent development in Lebanon will have significant regional repercussions, as it reflects a qualitative shift in the Arab political and popular mood, and represents the first break in the "hegemony by force" system that Iran has tried to impose by force and blood. It called on the Lebanese government to complete this path by stopping all forms of support and facilitation for the Houthi militia, closing its media platforms, and stopping the political and logistical activities of its members, in line with international legitimacy resolutions, foremost of which is UN Resolution 2216. This came in a welcome from the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Muammar Al-Eryani, to the historic decision issued by the Lebanese government, which stipulates that the possession of weapons and the decision of war and peace be in the hands of the Lebanese state alone, describing it as "a courageous step and a fundamental transformation that has been long awaited, and represents a serious start to restoring national sovereignty that Hezbollah has confiscated for decades." Muammar Al-Eryani confirmed in a press statement that this decision represents an actual break in the "state within a state" system imposed by Hezbollah by force of arms, which contributed to dragging Lebanon into the furnace of absurd conflicts and successive political and economic crises, for which the Lebanese people paid the price with their blood and livelihood, and during which the infrastructure was subjected to targeting and collapse. The minister pointed out that the past years, and even the recent months, have proven that Hezbollah's weapon has never been a weapon of resistance, but rather a tool to bully the Lebanese interior, liquidate political opponents, consolidate hegemony over the Lebanese sovereign decision, and impose Iran's agenda on the Lebanese state." He added, "This weapon has plunged Lebanon into wars that the state did not approve and the people did not choose, and the result was international isolation and an unprecedented economic collapse." He pointed out that the recent events in southern Lebanon clearly show that this weapon has become unable to even protect itself. In the same context, Al-Eryani recalled the dangerous role played by Hezbollah in supporting the Houthi coup in Yemen from its first moments, by sending experts and advisors to manage field battles alongside the Houthi militia, and providing media support through the "Al-Masirah" channel, which is still broadcasting from the southern suburb of Beirut, and constitutes a platform for incitement against the Yemeni state and a threat to Arab national security. He added, "Yemen, like other Arab countries, has paid the price for the subversive project led by Iran and implemented by its armed arms in a number of capitals." He pointed out that this project is not based on the concept of the state or national partnership, but on tearing apart societies and dismantling state institutions in favor of "permanent chaos" that follows the approach of the Guardianship of the Jurist. The minister explained that the Yemeni government will follow up on this file in the coming period at all levels, based on its sovereign right to defend its national security, and to ensure that countries adhere to a policy of distancing themselves from supporting the coup militias or terrorist groups that threaten regional and international peace and security. Al-Eryani concluded his statement by emphasizing that events have proven the impossibility of achieving security, stability and sovereignty in the presence of weapons outside state institutions, and that the projects of non-state actors are doomed to extinction no matter how long they last, and that the Arab peoples, even if delayed, are able to regain their national decision whenever they choose the path of the state, sovereignty, and dignity, instead of chaos and subordination.
