Aden ((Arabian Sea)) Exclusive: The head of the South Aden Appeals Prosecution, Judge Wadhah Badheeb, affirmed that demanding rights does not mean disrupting the work of the judiciary or closing its facilities to citizens, stressing that the strike must be understood within its correct context, without turning into a means of disrupting the public interest or undermining the message of justice. This came during a field visit carried out by Badheeb the day before yesterday to a number of primary prosecutions in the districts of Sirah and Khormaksar and a number of other prosecutions, to see the progress of work, functional discipline, and mechanisms for dealing with cases. During his tour, Judge Badheeb met with agents and members of the prosecutions, reviewed attendance and departure records and the level of achievement, praising the judicial and administrative staff who continue to perform their duties despite the difficult economic conditions. Badheeb said, "Demanding rights does not mean disrupting the work of the judiciary or closing its facilities to citizens. No employee has the right, under any circumstances, to close a public facility or stop serving people, as this opens the door to chaos and weakens the prestige of the state." Judge Badheeb called on the judges who have stopped working to put the public interest first and return to performing their duty, stressing that the judiciary must remain steadfast in the face of challenges, and that the message of justice cannot tolerate emptiness or procrastination. For his part, the head of the Aden Public Funds Appeals Prosecution, Judge Abdullah Salem Nasser, affirmed that work is continuing at a regular pace in various prosecutions, and that members of the prosecution are continuing their efforts without interruption to complete cases and serve the community. He added that the Public Prosecution is a safety valve for the state, and its continued performance of its tasks is an expression of the stability of its institutions, calling on all members of the judiciary to adhere to their national duty and maintain citizens' confidence in justice and the rule of law. For their part, a number of citizens expressed their satisfaction with the continuation of the work of the prosecutions, appreciating the efforts made by members of the prosecution in following up on cases and providing legal services without delay. The Public Prosecution continues to perform its tasks in light of the current challenges, embodying the ethical and national commitment of its members, while emphasizing the importance of strengthening coordination with the concerned authorities to provide a suitable environment that contributes to the completion of judicial tasks efficiently and continuously.
