Prime Minister Salem bin Breik directed the leadership of the Taiz axis to stop all abuses related to the seizure of public resources and to remove all collection points spread on the roads. In a memorandum addressed to the Minister of Defense, the Prime Minister affirmed that some entities affiliated with the Taiz axis continue to seize khat tax revenues, which constitutes a clear violation of the constitution, laws, and applicable financial regulations, in addition to the decisions of the Presidential Leadership Council and the relevant government decisions. He stressed the need to implement the directives urgently, while assigning an immediate investigation committee to hold those responsible accountable and refer them to the competent regulatory and legal authorities.
